( I know, I know, dont let a training issue become a technology one, but sometimes technology just makes it plain easier.)That's interesting, I'll see if I cannot look into this more, because this may impact my group shortly (I had some enhancements in mind). I'd like to automate all this, especially for the users at another office that are not exactly capable of following simple directions. So I had to go back to my machine, export the palette group, then import it on their machine. when I installed AutoCAD on the 2nd user's computer, all the palettes came in, but the group did not. See I've tried that, on my system, before I installed 2012 on anyone elses machine, I created a group in my tool palettes, of just our stuff, and set it current. ( I know, I know, dont let a training issue become a technology one, but sometimes technology just makes it plain easier.) but again, this assumes that the groups are e I've tried that, on my system, before I installed 2012 on anyone elses machine, I created a group in my tool palettes, of just our stuff, and set it current. I've seen some threads suggesting making commands / macros which would change the path for different *modes* (i.e., Plumbing, Electrical, Mechanical, etc.) only making the applicable palette(s) available. Is it not possible to setup a custom palette, with the Groups added, and force the users to load *that* palette from the network via the ToolPalettePath property (in turn making the group(s) available).? The best I've found so far is the TPNAVIGATE command, which requires that the Groups be loaded prior to executing the command. The Object Model doesn't reveal much (using 2009 products), and I've not yet checked for newer versions. To my surprise, I am unable to find much on this topic.
